Started the day at the Craven Farms area 6:00am to 7:45am. Fished a good while without seeing much movement in the water, no strikes, so I wrapped it up and headed towards town to check out a few spots through there.

8:15am onward - towards the new boat launch - watched a boat of 2 guys limit in an hour using red jigs (that's what it sounded like they said)? Watched another boat in that same hour reel in 2 or 3 and another with at least 3. I'm bank fishing so my access is limited but the fish were jumping everywhere, running through in schools as the tide was going out... I was using pink buzz bombs, pink rotators, jigs and lead, spoons and lead, white/pink buzz bombs and only got one strike.

Don't let my report dissuade you, if anything the fish have actually started arriving and in numbers enough to get your ass out there.
