Launched at 8 a.m and went straight over in front of VA Hospital. Put the downrigger down at 40 ft and trolled at one mile per hour. Did not hook a Kokanee that I am aware of but limited out on trout quickly. Only caught one on the downrigger but used pop gear and a 3 Oz weight with wedding ring behind it. That seemed to be what the fish were after used a piece of worm and garlic corn.
The trout were actually fair-sized and fat. Was not disappointed with the trout that I caught but was actually fishing for Kokanee.
