Spent the weekend over near loomis last weekend. We never have fished Palmer so we gave it a shot. Great lake with tons of area to fish. Originally were going to target smallies but the largemouth seemed more abundant. Caught lots of fish 2+lb range. Fishing rock walls and drops. Topwater worked great as well as senkos and creature baits for deeper fishing. It's not often I catch largemouth 20ft deep consistantly. Caught some smallmouth too and a few squahfish. We will definitely be back to Palmer next year!
