This year has been amazing so far. I've done more Salt water fishing than I have in the previous years and definitely stepped up my Columbia River visits.

This was a guided trip. Our guide was very kind to let us try whatever we wanted outside the usual herring setup. I decided to try my luck with the Mini Cut Plug super bait. Stuffed with anchovies. That was the ticket.

My setup got the first limit in the boat. One King and One Coho to boot. My friend and his dad proceeded to bring in the other two fish which happend to be Kings. We lost a handful of fish on the herring setup.

Needless to say it was an absolute blast. I look forward to heading back there next year. Now, time to hit the pudget sound for cohos and pinks!
