Just learning to fly fish and also river fishing. The Cedar is close by for me so it was a simple choice to give it a go there.

Caught two colorful 10-11" Cutt's on the only to rises of the evening. Both came on a Parachute Black Gant under 405. The night before I had 6-7 rises with no hook ups in the same local. I did catch a nice 11" Rainbow slightly up river that soared out the water to grab my fly....fun to see. Earlier in the week an lost the largest fish that I have had on my line when fishing the Cedar just past 405 and I was nyphming for that fish.

Only a few days left in the season and I did not make the most out of it, but I will next year. Go out and cool down after a long hot day....sure feels good!

Now if someone can take me Pink fishing, Fly or Spinning....that would be my next venture of something I have never done.
