I've been reading reports for months now... I finally caught a pink salmon and it took me a few days to actually report it !
Caught a nice pink salmon after about 40 min of casting. This was with a pink hoochie with white head and a bit of shrimp scent.

I got to the river at about 6:50 and the fish were nowhere to be found. Finally got a bit at around 7:30. A few minutes after, got another bite and after a few seconds of fighting, it got away. I had to go to work so left by 7:50. The guy next to me got another bite but couldn't land it. I've been going there a few days already and there's been little action. I've seen them jump, I've seen a couple of guys get 1 or 2 fish, but nothing spectacular.

Dinner was great, so I hope to catch at least one more before the season finally dies down. That was my first salmon ever so I was PRETTY excited ! Hoping to get a coho later ! tight lines !
