Hit the lake in the early afternoon. I wasn't surprised to find no trout, I wasn't even trying. Caught a couple small bass. Seemed like a shiney/reflective crank bait worked ok if you cast into spots the sun was hitting the water. Mostly stayed at the south end of the lake since the north end gets crowed with swimmers. One guy was catching bass left and right, about every 2 minutes. Not sure what he was using as bait but he was using a bobber, just off the boat launch. Another guy told me that a wedding ring with a little bit of worm or a maggot works wonders...?? Have to give it a try next time out.
