Lost a bunch of them between the hook up and the boat - and couldn't snag a bunch of nibblers either, just not my day.
Color was green, blade was a 1 1/2" smile with beads and a slow death hook tipped with half a worm - hits were not
very hard though. Area fished was Hawk creek - 1/2 doz other boats doing much the same thing - 2 or 3 seemed to be
the order of the day for keepers. Size was 15-16", not real fat, but good meat none the less. Oh yea, almost forgot - the
orange kekeda had the most hits. Interesting part of the day was watching the depth sounder - hanging around in 75-85 FOW
on the bottom appeared to be bunched up whitefish and suspended in the 35-50' range were some pretty good sized
ones - koke's maybe ?? I put on 3 and 4 oz banana sinkers and got down there, but had no takers - gave up after a couple
of hours. Beautiful day too - no smoke and not real hot.
