My friend and I fished the Samish this afternoon. Not a lot of fish showing but I managed to land this one, dorsal hooked another one right at the bank and long line released him. Then I hooked a silver and landed it but it was a native so back it went. The upcoming rain will help, just remember this is a release wild coho fishery and it is rare to catch a hatchery coho.

I will be turning my sights for river coho to the Nooksack and Snohomish.
