Spent a week at Mt Adams & Takhlakh Lake in mid August. What a fun time that was. First day there, it was cloudy, so couldn't see much of Mt Adams, but saw this Osprey right when we got there flying off with a fish (pic on website below). Good omen. Next day , Monday, we went fishing in late afternoon and Iryn caught a large 20 incher and three other smaller ones. Shortly after that, Iryn said, "Look behind you, a Osprey diving to catching a fish!" I learned a lesson here... I didn't have my big Nikkor 200-500mm lens on as I was taking pics of Iryn fishing with my 18-200mm thinking I wouldn't miss anything. WRONG! So I had to settle for these pictures (on website below). Better than nothing. Later at 10pm, I shot some stars with Mt Adams! This picture pretty much sums up the day! We caught several more during the week with another big one on Wed.
