On the water by 0600, low fog, dead calm water. Water at 63 degrees, marked fish almost anywhere we went. Pulled "School of Minnows with green wedding rings and worm pieces. Caught and released many many silvers and rainbows in the 8-10 inch size. Finally boated several over the 11-14 inch size. Landed my first Washington German Brown; not too large (about 11 1/2 inch). Most beautiful fish since a couple of dolly vardens we caught at Cushman a few years ago. He was quickly returned to get bigger. Kept 3 Bows for dinner. Fished Upper campground and under the bridge. Check out the creek running into the lake beyond the bridge, tons of small perch. Off at noon due to the large wave machines! Fish still hitting our lines even with the waves, just uncomfortable in our small aluminum boat being tossed around. Big rigs either have no idea how inconsiderate they are, or just don't care. Little consideration could go along way, there is plenty of room for all to enjoy this gorgeous lake.
Enjoy the moment and take a kid fishing!!!!!!!
