Barely could bring myself to get up this morning when the alarm clock went off. Before I knew it I was dressed and packed up ready to go. Got down to the river just after first light. Seen a few rollers and what I think was a seal. Slow early on, got a few sculpin bites and released a jack. Finally hooked something bigger after switching out scents. Landed an adult Coho that was all scarred up. A few drifts later I hooked up again. A chunky reddish hooked nose buck of around 6lbs. Almost got it close enough to tail but it started death rolling close to shore and somehow snapped my line. Rigged up again and shortly after had another fish on. Something looked off about the fish when I saw it in the water. After I landed it I saw that its bottom jaw had been broken and healed all crooked. Tried for a little while longer with a few missed bites. Called it a morning and head home around 9am.
