Tried Beaver after work today as I targeted an overcast day after a slow day at Beaver on Monday.

Got to the lake about 3:30 and had a nice conversation with a young man from the Overlake Fly Club so. Was not on the water till about 4pm.

Trolling Flatfish I worked my way down to the end of the end only to pick up a fish about 1/3rd of the way down. Circled back to that spot and picked up another one before I could get back to it. Had one more hit near the first spot and headed to back without a hit. Picked up fish 3 at the end of the lake in a spot that has produced every trip to this lake for me. Picked up 2 more just outside the so-called bay at the end of the lake and one last fish on my way back in the middle of the lake. Metallic Perch was the color again today with Black Sliver flecks next. I was about 6' deep.

Much better day today than Monday and we will see how it goes on Friday and Saturday there before I am off to Munn.
