Great couple hours on the lake!
I was targeting brown trout by trolling @ 1.8 mph 3-4' off the bottom using my down riggers. The depth average was 20 - 25' and water temp around 67 degrees.

I was using Sling Blades, one with a Brown trout needle fish and one with a Pro Troll Apex in Rainbox color. Both were tipped with a 1/2 slice of Berkley Yellow Corn and dipped in Bloody Tuna.

I wentered through a few 12" Rainbows that I released and suddenly one rod popped off the downrigger. I was using my 9 1/2' Ultra Light Kokanee Rods and thought I had snagged the bottom. These rods didn't have the backbone for these 19 and 21" browns, which made it even more fun. Went back to my dock, took a few pics and fired up the barbecue.
Fantastic day and my first Browns!
