To say we had a good season would be a slight under statement. From the first trip of the year to the last, the fishing off Esperanza was excellent. We had consistent fishing for Chinook’s, Halibut and bottom fish all summer. A big thank you to all our guests for making it such a successful and memorable season! Sorry to those we had to turn away. We filled all spots and were 100% full this past summer.

Salmon fishing was steady the whole summer. We had solid fishing early June offshore at the highway and the beach fishing from mid-June until the end of the season was excellent as well. We saw a few more 30lb Tyee’s on the dock this year compared to the last few years which is always great news for the genetics of our fish. Coho fishing started in mid-July and we saw some real beauties.

Our 2018 fishing adventure with North West Fishing Reports (NWFR) has been confirmed. We have June 8-10th and June 11-13th. The new show from 2017 will be airing in early November on Fox 41 and Fox 11 in Washington State and Oregon. Looking forward to having the NWFR guys our way next season. Always a great time with Mike, Rob and Aaron around!
