Cold, wet day on the Columbia near Ringold. We caught 12, lost 4 at the boat. A couple of them were beasts, most were between 15-18 inches. Used a small hook and single salmon egg bounced off of the bottom in 10-15 FOW.

Looks kinda like my old boat. Is that a HarberCraft?

What a great report. I didn't know there were Whitefish there. They are great fish to smoke and those are perfect eaters.

Exactly, they are incredible smoked. They are in brine as we speak.

Thanks for the report, had no idea anyone fished for Whitefish down there. Hoping to try Banks Lake when they start to school up there.

Use to fish them in the upper Skagit with a egg or tad of orange yarn. Good smoked they are.
