11/22/2017 5:14:33 PMI went out for a thanksgiving tradition fishing trip with my family, we did ok too. 3 fish fishing from shore. we elected not to bring the boat due to the heavy rain that was supposed to come. lots of the boats came in with limits, some came in with nothing

11/22/2017 9:06:38 PMDid well today myself. Saw quick limits from powerbaiters towards the large Navy home right of the launch on the other side. I found my fish elsewhere trolling. Lots of action once you did.

11/23/2017 8:39:11 PMIf you are at the launch, it is about 45 degrees across the lake from there. Did well today too! Again, found all my fish in a small concentrated area.

I whipped up some new oil-based scents last night and i was eager to try them, so I made a quick trip this morning, just plunking from the launch for a bit over an hour. I Don't last long plunking anyway, so the trip was the perfect amount of time. powerboat itself wasn't working, but after a few different scent combos one of my anise/garlic scents knocked it out of the park! it was raining hard so i just packed up after one fish (all i needed for thanksgiving after yesterday), but using that scent i think i could have got one more fairly quickly.
new scents should be making their debut on some of the lakes i guide soon!
