Fishing cassidy for crappie been in my mind for a long time but never have the will to do it with all the salmon and steelhead season going on. Rivers are flooded and what eles is there to do. So call up one of my buddy who's been wanting try crappie fishing. We met up at my house and on the water by 1:30pm. We anchored up by the dock across the lake faceing north side of the lake, casting with the wind for further distances. Bobber jig with crappie nibbles was our setup in 15ft deep water. Stayed till 330pm. Got 13 crappies overall. Nothing big just normal average 9".
