Well the Tin-Guppy made her first voyage on Sprague Lake. The wind was stronger than we had hoped for so that called for a little more effort but overall it was a pretty nice day. It was my first time ever on Sprague so there was a lot to learn. We had 2 strikes and boated both fish and released same. We got a 17 and a 23 which I am pretty sure is the biggest Rainbow I have landed in the Guppy and I got it on my new Lamiglass 7 1/2 ft Kokanee Special. Good fun but for a big fish he didn't really fight all that hard, maybe the cold water. Spent most of the day fiddling with my new Lowrance HDS 7 Gen 3 just getting some "stick time" and figuring out how to get it setup the way I want it. Only saw one other boat and they said they had only had 1 bite all day. I took the big one on, you guessed it, an Orange Kekeda Fly and Les took his on an Orange Rapalla. Would have like to have had more action but for a discovery voyage it wasn't too bad.
