I was swinging a fly and not even a bump. There were about 10 Gear boats in the section between Hartzell Creek and Clearwater Bridge. Only saw 2 fish boated. Not sure the major push of steelies were in there in great numbers yet. Water was low running about 4000 CFS and about a 2 ft clarity. This is the Hatchery run and it should start picking up the coming weeks.

The NFR Ranger was checking licensees/record catch cards as well as PFD's so come to the river prepared or it will get expensive.
