Baiowolph and I went fishing to St. Clair to catch some Cuts or what ever would bite. We got on to the lake abt. 11AM. The fish finder showed a lot of fish, but no bites. I got new rod and reel for Christmas that I wanted try for the First time. Its a casting reel(Abu Garcia) and rod, I jammed up the line on the reel with the first cast. I had another pole I was using, but didn't get any bites on anything that I used. I still had a lot fun on such nice cloudy morn to sunny afternoon. Padding around on our Paddle Ski boat. The best part of the day was when Baiowolph was reeling in her line/bait with about 2 ft of line still in the water(Down 1 of our favorite arms at St. Clair) a Brown Trout grabbed the soft power bait trout bug. Which I got my net to help her get it onto the boat. It was 1lb and 18" long, what beauty. On the way back to the ramp we had some bites, no fish. We got off the lake at 4PM.
