Went out to Haller with a friend on a boat. Fished for bass with plastic worms and senkos. We both thought the bass were pretty small in this lake so went out with 6lb test line. Had plenty of bites from small to medium small sized bass around the lily pads, but couldn't hook em since I bought hooks a size to large. I was using a texas rig, but they stopped biting so switched to a wacky rig and threw it under a dock. Next thing I know, my pole starts bending and shaking, but I had my drag on too tight and lost the fish and the senko. Other than that bite, others were pretty small. My friend landed a a fairly good sized bass then released it. Not that successful of a day, but it was fun to see them jump after senkos when it landed on top of lily pads and stuff.
