Went out to the lake around 3 in the afternoon. For once there was no swimmers. It was real windy, but nice. I was fishing a Wordens rainbow spinner that night. On my first cast, I hooked into a smallmouth that may hve went about 8in. Couldn't really tell for sure since I made a lon distance release after it jumped. On my very next cast, I hooked into a another smallmouth. It was about 3in which I released. It was non stop action with the spinner until around 9. In all, I caught and released 18 smallmouth. The biggest one was 14in long and veary lean. Also, I hooked into a fairly large sunfish. All in all, it was well worth the bug bites...I guess.
