Went to island lake today not expecting to catch much. just wanted to get out of the house, brought 2 setups one for rainbows and one for some largies. Used a 4-foot leader with a half ounce sliding sinker. had 2 bites off the back but they let go as I went to set the hook. For bass i was using a green pumpkin seed worm and caught 2 bass both of them weighing around a pound. For the last hour, i switched to an orange garlic power bait and that seemed to work got one nice cutthroat that was stocked in January. For this time of year it was a really good day.
