Decided to sneak out for a few hours and take advantage of Daylight Savings time! The weather was perfect and the river was glass! However, the rain blew out the Snake and the Wallula area was a bit murky because of it! Also the temps brought the river up a few degrees. Traditionally this will affect this area in the negative and the proof was in the fishing here tonight! Just a few days prior, the fishing was hot, and it was dead dead dead tonight! we harnessed, plugged, and jigged. Finally caught one nice 23 inch eater on a plug. Will probably fish the John Day pool Saturday!
