Was greeted by Snow this morning at Lost Lake and was on the water by 8:15am.
It was slow with little sings of the top water activity that I saw last year. Found some fish to the right of the launch after I spent some time left of it. Got one nice holdover about 12-13”.
As the temp came up so did a hatch and soon the risers followed. The bite really picked up so I started trying different colors, in fact too many ones but before I did, I picked up a really nice fat 13-14”that was over a pound. I also caught one that was tiny, very tiny.
Pink TM was the best color. So 2 holdovers and 1 sardine and a Bobby Wagner full of normal sized fish.
Shown in the pics are the 2 holdovers, the sardine and one colorful Bow.
What was better than Fishing was I meet Russ from Elgin Fishing out there. He was trolling around doing a new video and of course, crushing them on his EGT spoons. I started out with a Frog pattern in the morn.
Great meeting you Russ and thanks for the Brown Pattern Spoon!
I also saw fishon there who I talked to last year at this same lake. Great see you again fishon!
Fishing and meeting new and old members.....Great day!
