It no secret the kokanee fishing on Lake Chelan has been good. I spent a few days on the lake recently. All the boat ramps are good to use. Starting next month the millbay launch will be closed. We launched at the state park. There is very little dock in the water. The launch is in good shape. Saturday weather was crazy. We had some of the biggest snow flakes I have every seen. It was wet and Cold! Many days like this and I would be looking for a boat with a cabin!LOL Luckly the fishing heated things up. We ran up to the Yacht club and fished to Mitchell creek. We found kokanee in the 50' - 125' FOW. Pink,Orange,and green set ups and 4" inches Dodgers. We used macks double D's, GVF Dodgers and Rocky Mountain Dodgers. Fished GVF spinbugs and squiders tipped with pink shoe peg corn. I still have some dates open in April, May, and June to go load the boat with these tasty fish!
