Wasn't planning on going out today but saw the sun pop out and blue skies so figured I'd give Rattlesnake a shot this morning before the wind and rain moved in.

Started out trolling my Rattlesnake standby (1/2 oz Rainbow pattern Kastmaster) and got a couple hits but missed them. I just found out that two-rods is OK here so set up my second rod to troll a 3/8 oz blue & silver KM. Started getting hits immediately so tossed the 1/2 oz blue & silver on the other rod. Kept getting hits on the smaller for a while, then that shut off and started getting hits on the bigger. Ended up netting 9 fish all in the 11-14" range and losing 3-4 more, between 9:30-12:30. Around 12:30 it started raining and the wind picked up making some white caps which were a little uncomfortable in the kayak so I headed in.

All in all and excellent morning especially since I didn't expect to be going out today!
