Skipped heading south and stayed closer to home. Dead clam at 7am till about 10am and then the wind picked up some.

Plenty of fish...about 11 per hour with a huge number of lost fish. I lost one nice one that jumped near my toon and snapped the leader. (I think it was frayed coming off the Spool), thus I lost one of the best lure to date in th process. To choppy to see if it was floating on the surface which happened twice before. Bummed....hope the backup is just as good. Metallic Perch was in fire today, but I did not use till half way thru the day.

Busy day out there as I counted 10 other anglers. Talk to a fly angler when I came in at 3pm and he only got three but was super excited at what did get. I showed me a pic of a very colorful Steelhead, maybe 6lbs, just a guess. It was an awesome fish, one I would love to catch there. He was using a sink tip with a Bugger, Damsel combo. Maybe he will post it. It’s worth seeing.
