Finally getting a bit more time on the lake. Had a plan to fish chironomids since I'm new to it but the wind was a bit much. Also haven't had a great time locating fish. After an hour, ended up trolling around. Left one deeper (Type 3 Full Sink) and an Full intermediate. A few short strikes on the intermediate but nothing solid. Finally got a strong tug on the deeper rod and my 4wt was loaded deep. Good strong fight and ended up with a nice 18"+ holdover. I'm assuming it's not a trio since it was long and fit, not a football.
Fun trip for around 2 hours on the water. Saw a few of surface sips but nothing like it should for this time of the year.
Tight lines!
