Hit Rattlesnake after work today. Left Bellevue and it was nice. Heading east it was dark and cloudy. Just before I get to the gate, driving hail starts up so I parked at the launch hoping it would blow by and that the lake would calm down. Waited and waited. Finally I drove off and make one loop around and checked it out again. It seemed to be getting better so off I went about 5pm.

Turned out quite good as the lake started to lay down. Fishing was good early on with a huge gap of little action. Swallows everywhere with a visual hatch going on. Strikes were limited and most came off, then it started back up about 7 :15. Ended up with 11 fish per hour.

Gold was the color and in fact it caught what I think is a Whitefish about at 7:45 not go far from the launch.
Anyone else know of these in Rattlesnake?

What looked to me a turn around go home outing turned out pretty darn good.
