I was on the far North end of the lake Thursday 10:30 - 1:30. Got four larger cutthroats to the net (C&R) and had at least as many takedowns without hookups. [ More misses than usual, my trailing hooks (new) were tied a bit further back than usual, might move them in closer. Who knows...;) ]
I used one of the new Brad's Kokanee cut plug in green (Rotten Banana) and got action right out of the gate, switched over to the old reliable, green/chart wiggle hoochie, and got action as well. Both run 36" behind a chart slingblade, 6". Probably other colors are working as well, but I rarely switch back and forth. The north end seems to be all about the color green, from my experience.
The biters were ranging from 15' to 25'. I looped through a few schools and got most of the action at the hot spot. Also saw a couple really large bait balls on the finder.
The lake is showing signs of life. Tight lines!
