Had the morning to hit Antilon today. It was a bit windy but the lake is pretty well protected for at least 5-8 mob winds.

Fished from sunrise to 10:30am with a good bite till about 9 am. Caught a few more of the larger ones about 12-13”. What I don’t know is that today I caught more with Red dots on them. I am not sure if this is a maturity thing or a size thing as the smaller face he did not have any red dots. Can anyone inform me please.

Pretty much just went with a Metalic Perch and Copper Bill FFish. Ended up with 25 with 13 to 12 in favor of the Copper Bill FFish.

I was again the only person on the lake.

I did not let out as much line to troll these FF which I felt helped in more fish to the net as I netted about 80% of my hook ups compared to maybe 10% the day before,

Pure strain Loch Leven brown trout from Scotland have only black spots, no red, and the pure strain from Germany
known as the Von Behr have red spots mixed with black. Washington stocks are a mix of both strains so
some have more red spots than others. The pure strains exist in Yellowstone Park where the browns
were only planted once in 1890, Loch Leven in Lewis/Shoshone lakes and Von Behr in the firehole
drainage.
