Back to my favorite lake for the first time this year, I waited a day hoping it will be less crowded but I was wrong :D
There are boats, kayaks and tubes everywhere, but it was nothing compared to the folks fishing from dock. I started trolling around the lake with a yellow hotshot 70. After 20 minutes without a bite, I was about to reel it in fore a change and suddenly a nice 14" rainbow slammed it.
After I brought in my first fish, I circled around to the same area (right to the boat launch) and got 2 more bites but lost both.

Another 15 mins went by without a bite, I rowed to the north end of the lake, this time I was using a bronze krocodile spoon.
Drifting south with the current, action was nonstop, I caught fish after fish after fish with simple cast and retrieve.

I ended up keeping my limit and released / lost the rest. It was a great day despite being a little crowded
