Catfishing at Palouse Falls/Lyons Ferry/Snake River. It's only a few feet deep, too shallow for most boats. Beautiful, calm morning and day. Plenty of cats and walleye at the bottom of the deepest channels I found on the outside bends of the river. Fished cut bait on the bottom with a slip sinker. Tons of wildlife too, pheasants, geese, pelicans, hawks, mud swallows, massive jumping carp. About 5pm I heard what sounded like a boat or plane engine coming my way. Turned out to be a gale. Water went from glass to rollers. Fortunately the one boat that was still out towed me in.
