Noah and I spent the afternoon looking for Brown Trout, but didn't see a single one. The Rainbows on the other hand... we couldn't keep them off the hooks. We put the bait away early on and they didn't seem to mind a bit. We were trolling in the upper 25 feet of water using a Frisky Jenny fly, and a Kekeda fly in black with a WiggleFin Action Disc.

The meat on these things was dark red and tasted great.

Great report. I've had good success this time of year there casting jointed rapalas in rbt pattern along the rock slopes along shore. Shallow water, fast action.

A 12'' piece of pool noodle zip tied to a net handle will keep a net afloat!

Hi Aaron love Rock lake used to fish it a bunch. #5 (yes 5) chrome flat fish has sometimes been a winner on the browns. Also olive bunny tail (leech) trolled naked with no dodger can be a winner there.
