Started off from the resort, headed south along the west side of the lake, at the fish net pens, and trolled south toward bird island, and then rounded the island and headed back along the eastside of the lake, using a perch colored F5 flatfish with single treble hook, and hooked fish like crazy. Also used a semi clear with red and black colored F5 flatfish, with a single treble hook, and it also worked like a champ, as I caught my limit with ease, but the biggest rainbow was 13 inches. Also used an orange with chrome back cyclops spoon the next day, and it also caught a limit of fish. Largest rainbow I physically saw caught, was a 3 lb caught on orange power bait from the dock, and the same person the next night, caught a 3-1/4 lb rainbow, and both fish were tagged. Wednesday day time, at about 2 PM, we had Monsoon rain come down, before I could reach the dock, I was soaked, and had lots of water in the boat. Wedding rings trolled with a night crawler were also working fantastic for catching trout, with about 3/4 to 1 ounce of weight on, with 4 ft of leader to the lure, with 11 to 12 wraps of line out.
