Went out looking for bass along the docks on the east and northern shoreline. Zero luck after two and a half hours of fishing with plastic worms, spinners, and swim baits. Started fishing the drop offs on the other side of the boat while my buddy pounded the docks still in search of bass. Got lots of takes but missed the set with a white superfluke. Switched to white and white with black tubes about 3 inches long with a 1/8 ounce bullet and started pulling up perch, all about 10-12 inches. Finally went to white maggots with green tails on a 1/16 ounce jig head. Tons of perch, all on a slow jigging retrieve a couple of feet off the bottom in 6-15 feet of water. If you are looking for somewhere to take a kid fishing and they are like my son, they don't care what they catch as long as they are getting action, this would be a great chance to do some "catching".
