WE got to the county ramp around 8 AM. A deputy sheriff came by and we found out he knew the lake. He reported that action was very slow. Since we went that far we decided to try our luck anyway. Trouble right away, the motor refused to start. So we decided to go out on the electric anyway. Plenty of time to rig up and full batteries. When we cast out, within 5 minutes we had our first fish. Yes it was a "Put n' Take" maybe 9" but it was a fish. Released it. This carried on for an hour and a half. We boated 16 released 14 and lost 5 before they got to the boat. We kept the two largest, a 13.5 and a 12". We were happy even if the others on the water were reporting a really slow day. I still have to figure out why the 2 stroke Yamaha 70 has no fire.
