I’m not from the area so I had no clue what was in this lake. I talked to a local that had forgotten his gear there and he gave me the low down. I was surprised to hear there was Bass in this lake. So I changed out my gear (because I was using trout gear) to bass fish this little lake. I decide to use a rubber minnow made by the people that make trout dough. And low and behold, first cast I land a 4/5 pound bass. Had a few hits after that but nothing worth talking about. I sure hope I didn’t catch the only fish in this pond. Lots of vegetation in this lake. Not a lot of spot with flat ground. But it is quiet and I even saw an American Bald Eagle!
