Well, I got tired of working on the "Honey Do List" and decided to go on Strike! Honey do this.... Honey do that... guess what Honey? I'm going fishing!
Took my lucky charm with me, aka "The Mutt". Didn't know which lake to pick in Snohomish county so I ended up doing the ol' eeny meeny miny moe thing. Anyways, got the boat out on the water and started scanning some hot spots. "The Mutt" helps me find the fish. He hangs half his body over the boat with his nose about an inch from the waters surface sniffing away. When he sees bubbles he gets all excited. When those bubbles pop, he gets a good whiff of them fish farts. Soon as he does, he arches his back and does the doggy 2 step with his tongue hanging out. Oh man, never seen a dog so messed up in the head. He's a crazy mutt but knows where them fish are at. I anchored up the boat and started fish. Peace and Quiet. Forgot what that was. Ended up catching a bunch of small mouth bass between 11" to 20". Caught some small yellow perch, blue gill, and some gorgeous trout. Lost count of how many fished I got in the boat, but overall it was a good day.
