I will rate this lake because it took four hours before I put anything together!

Lake is green with algae and I hope it has carp or I spooked about two dozen MONSTERS in the pads :O

I worked the no wake zone for a while before running out into the main lake and turning left. Worked more pads and the shoreline with zero results. I decided I would just spinnerbait my way to open water and leave as I was hungry and tired from being up since 0230! Third cast I had a thump but it didn't stick, three casts after that whack! 1.8lber and Cowlitz County CHECK!

I'll be back to fish this sucker next March for sure! Just a note, you turn off the highway on Kerr Rd to get to the public launch and if you're pulling a trailer you better know what you're doing cause it's a tad tight in there with a full parking lot!
