Patty and I camped at Kettle falls campground and fished from 7-5 to 7-8. We fished for Walleye mornings and evenings, catching a few each time out. Most were 30-40ft down. We jigged curly tails and worms and also trolled slow death set-ups. Lots of debris still floating around. Water is cold, 61-62 degrees. Trolled for trout a bit sunday morning and caught a 17" Chinook. I talked to Shane Reynolds from Northwest Fishing Expeditions and he said the Sturgeon are very deep. He's catching them, but keepers are not as common as last year when we went with him due to the small slot size. Tight Lines....Lee

Thanks for the report Lee, good here you were getting some keepers. Been thinking about heading up and trying Kettle Falls, don't know that area as well as the lower lake and am looking for a change of pace.
Stay after them, it's the right thing to do.
