Hammer Down River Excursions left the boat dock at 8:30 and spent the day hunting the the small mouth. We had a lot of success fishing from the boat and back trolling and using worms and gear. We did some bank fishing but we did better from the boat. We stopped mid-day and had BBQ lunch prepared on the boat with homemade cookies the size of our head. We caught more big fish than little due to letting the gear sink into the deeper holes and called it a day around 4pm.
