Started fishing from shore on 2 different lakes just on the east side of white pass with no luck. Saw nothing going on with the boats out either. Stopped at alder at a couple parks on the way home. Tried both flies and spinning gear for nothing in particular. Caught and released a couple small perch on a muddler fly. Saw what was probably a bass roaming the shallows and a newt. Only one fishing boat out and a few ski boats that I saw.
