I guess rating is more like a 2.5 today. Big change from yesterday in catch and weather. Overcast with a nice cool breeze.

Started off at where I lost a fish yesterday. 1st cast just before 8AM. Started off with a jerkbait, then crank, then dropshot in the area. When I got to the dropshot, I felt resistance and set the hook. I feel weight, but no fight it in.I reel it in and catch a nice 4' stick fish. Had to keep moving and cover water to find my 1st SMB, but it was just a little 13"er on a dropshot. Made a few more casts there and I caught a small squawfish on the dropshot. I wonder if an eagle has grabbed it yet....

Tried a few different areas than yesterday. Also hit a few spots from yesterday to see anything was still active there. Tried jerkbait, crankbait, tube, football jig, and dropshot. I stuck with the dropshot since it seemed to catch a few fish. Had lots of small pecks today on all the offerings. Yesterday, I didnt get much pecking.

Caught fish from ~8'-21' today. Landed 6 SMB with biggest @ 1.87#. I only remember 1 or 2 of them being under 13". And 1 squawfish and stick fish. Stayed cloudy and cool the entire time I was out there. Saw the clouds burning off with a bit of sun on way in.
