Went Green lake for hoping to catch a few trout(c/r) first time back since last winter. No trout and I'm running out of my little me time so decided to flip a watermelon yumm crawdad in hope to hook some bass. 2nd cast boom hooked up with a monster on a #6 lbs test line for a trout gear. Played it nicely, land it, photo ops then it when back swimming happy. I'm stoked and shaking hooking my personal best. Then pack up and left.
