Despite the heat and warm water temperatures I decided to give Long Lake a try. I started trolling at 6:00am and quit about 11:30. Probably averaged about one bite every 20-25 minutes (this is much better than I expected). The morning bite was the best. As the day progressed the fish would hit only once and not come back for another strike. But overall a good morning.
