Patty and I went looking for the elusive Kokanee in the Keller Ferry area Sat. and Sun. mornings. Lots of fiesty new release rainbows, almost annoying, but lots of action. NO KOKANEE! We did catch a beautiful unclipped net pen rainbow around 3 lbs. Looked like a triploid. The fish checker said she has seen no kokanee since March 3, but 112 unclipped rainbows that were mistakened for Kokanee. Might as well be looking for Bigfoot! We had to give the kokes a try, hoping the reports of no fish were lies. Tight Lines... Lee
