After last weeks 3 Chinook/1 Coho luck, the Salmon Gods turned non-benevolent to show me who's "BOSS"! I fished the Kingston Appletree Cove area down to President Point then back in during the early morning ebb to flood tide, 8 hours or so with zero results. No takedowns, no nets seen being used. The view to the South showed a mass of boats working the Jeff's Head area but I decided to stay away. The lures of choice from last week got zero love so it's back to the grind which can make for a long day.
The week before the Army Truck AHF and the 5" Tomic Plug got the hookups, lost a nice fish on another Tomic Plug due to mental error of sorts, replace the existing hook!!
The tides this week look better in the evening so might give that a try on Thursday.

BARCHASER invited me out on his boat this morning and Gary got a nice 9/10lb'r off Jeff head at about 6:30. I had several shakers. Still a great day. Thanks again for the great day.

Thats why I never use my scale. Then I can be optimistic about the weight and not feel guilty! Yesterday, after 5 hours at Jeff we did fish Apple Tree for awhile. Nothing there, no fish marks or bait. There were two tribal boats in fairly shallow water right off the point. I didn't get close but they seemed to be anchored up with some sort of net hanging out the back. Never saw that before. They were definitely tribal with the usual big numbers on the side.
